Happy New Year!

2020 was a difficult year for everyone. May the new year bring blessings to us all!

How can we expect blessings after a year of turmoil? In Isaiah 41:10, God tells us, “Fear thou not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am thy God…”

Philippians 4:19: But my God shall supply all thy need according to his riches in Christ Jesus.

3 John 1:2: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

You see, if you are a child of God, God wants for you to be blessed! He blesses us when we try to live as Christ did. No one can lead a perfect life, and Christ did that for us. We should all pray that God will bless and prosper all of us.

James 4:2b: Ye have not, because ye ask not.

Why: Things I Want Your Heart To Know

Now, 10 years later, I am surprised to be alive. Not only that, but I am thriving. I have three children. All of them are in their 20’s and though I have had a tracheostomy, and I can’t move anything except my head, they have settled into “this is our life now.” They know what I can and can’t do, and we live our lives accordingly.

So, why do I call my site “Things I Want Your Heart To Know?” Because my three darlings need to know what is in my heart; and I wish for them to carry my love for them in their own.
